Since graduating from SU's nursing major, Jennifer has continued working at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she completed her senior year practicum.

Stevenson is known for educating thoughtful, caring, and skilled graduates across all disciplines, and that reputation is strong within the nursing community in Maryland and beyond.

Since graduating from SU with Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Jennifer has continued working at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she completed her senior year practicum in the school-aged and burn pediatric unit. Now working on the Pediatric Care and Clinical Research Unit (PCRU), which specializes in transplant, cardiac, and genetic diseases, as well as clinical research for children, Jennifer has advanced her career as a nurse. She currently mentors newer nurses, and, in addition to bedside nursing, has become a nursing community clinical supervisor for Stevenson.

Looking back on her education, Jennifer is thankful for Stevenson’s partnerships with many area hospitals, which provide a variety of clinical settings and gives students an added confidence at placement beyond graduation.

Stevenson gave me the tools to be prepared for the "real world." The classes taught me the concepts of medical care, while the clinical experiences gave me the hands-on skills needed in nursing.
