Now that you have been accepted into 麻豆传媒 Online, here are your next steps:

1. Registration

Your Student Success Coach will contact you to set up an appointment and guide you through the registration process. They will evaluate your transferable credits, develop your personalized degree plan, and review Stevenson’s academic resources available to you as a student.

2. Log Ins

Once you are registered for classes, the  will send you an email containing information about your single sign-on account and creating a personal password in order to access various applications. If you have any questions about accessing your account or creating your username or password, please contact Tech Connection at helpdesk@stevenson.edu or 443-334-3000.

3. Financial Aid

Please refer to the Financial Aid document and visit the Financial Aid webpage for more information. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Student Financial Aid at 443-334-3200 or financial-aid@stevenson.edu.

4. Required Online Orientation: SUO 100

SUO 100 is the required online orientation for all new students. SUO 100 is a non-credit, pass/fail course which will appear on your transcript. There is no charge for SUO 100.

To fulfill the requirement for SUO 100, please complete the following steps:
  1. Access  or by logging into the  from the Stevenson homepage.
  2. Complete all sections: Academic Integrity Tutorial, Student Success Tutorial, and Final Exam
  3. Complete SUO 100 Online Orientation before the end of the session’s first week. Please note: SUO 100 due date will be included within the orientation. 

5. Books

 To have your books shipped to a home or work address, please indicate in the comment section that you are a 鈥淪UO student.鈥 For further information, please contact the Campus Store at 443-352-4062 or sustore@stevenson.edu.

Please Note: Some courses use bundled sets. For those courses, it is recommended to purchase your books on site from the Campus Store. For those courses, it is recommended to purchase your books on-site from the Campus Store.  Some courses may utilize Inclusive Access electronic books and materials.  These charges will be billed with your registration charges on your Student Account . You must follow the 鈥淥pt-out鈥 procedures to decline use of and associated discounted price of these materials. Helpful information can be found in the Billing FAQ/Billing Frequently Asked Questions.

Following orientation, all future correspondences will be sent to your , including tuition statements, course information, and updates. Students are responsible to check this account on a regular basis.

Direct access Stevenson’s online learning system, . If you need assistance with navigating Blackboard after completing SUO 100, contact your Student Success Coach.

Drop Without Penalty

In order to receive a 100% refund on a course, students must submit a Course Drop Form prior to the Drop Without Penalty Date. Please note, the final transcript will not include the course. 

Last Day to Withdraw

In order to receive a “W” on their transcript, students must submit a Course Withdrawal Form prior to the Last Day to Withdraw date. Please note, the course will not be refunded.

All tuition billing is managed through  and will not be mailed to students. Student accounts may be viewed on Student Finance. Students are required to settle their accounts in full by the Friday of the first week of class. 麻豆传媒鈥檚 part-time, per credit cost can be found on tuition page.

Please be aware that students in some programs are subject to varied billing and payment due dates. New Student Orientation

The New Student Orientation covers topics that include: online resources, Stevenson’s portal, online learning environment (Blackboard), campus information, and general tips for new student success. We recommend that new students view the orientation before the start of the session.

suOne Card

Serving as your 麻豆传媒 ID, you are required to carry your suOne card when on campus. Your suOne card is also used for access into buildings including the Fitness Centers, library resources, book voucher funds to purchase books, and debit card purchases at the dining facilities and vending machines. Showing your suOne card may also provide discounts at many restaurants, theatres, and other establishments. To obtain your student ID at no charge, you may visit the Security Office on the Owings Mills campus, located on the first floor of the Ratcliffe center building.  Please call ahead at 443-352-4500 to make sure someone will be available to take your picture.  You may also request a student ID by mail, click here for instructions.

Parking Permit

If you plan to regularly visit one of our campuses, please be sure to obtain a parking permit.  All students are required to display their Stevenson parking permit within their vehicle when parking at any campus location. Security will issue tickets if parking permits are not properly displayed. To obtain a parking permit at no charge you may visit the Security Office on the Owings Mills campus, located on the first floor of the Ratcliffe Center building.  Please call ahead at 443-352-4500 to make sure someone will be available.  You must bring a copy of your car registration and completed Parking Registration form with you.

SU Text Alerts

SU Alert is Stevenson鈥檚 campus emergency text and email messaging system. SU Alert is an opt-in system, so you must sign up to receive emergency alert texts and/or email messages to your preferred email address.

All Stevenson faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to sign up for SU Alert. In the event of a campus emergency, major weather-related campus closing and delays, and other campus emergency situations, SU Alert texts and emails will be the first way we will communicate information to our campus community.

Career Connection

麻豆传媒’s Career Connection Center offers advisors who assist students in identifying and developing their career paths. These specialists guide students through the job search process by providing them with the resources and tools necessary to successfully obtain employment. Services include:

  • Career Connections: Stevenson’s 24/7 Career Services tool and information center

New students are automatically enrolled in the Mustang Career Mentor Program. The overall goal of the program is to connect students to Stevenson alumni and community partners to provide networking opportunities and career advice to our students.
